The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong creative eye that is passionate about creating unique content, highly skilled in strategy and planning. This role sees you working alongside the Owner and Operation Manager. You will be responsible for conceptualising, curating, and taking authentic, fresh and engaging content with the August girl in mind. This role is highly creative which requires thinking outside of the box and bringing new ideas to the forefront daily. Developing creative and innovative content with a strong link to brand strategy. This role requires a highly organised, Quick to pivot and passionate team player.

As a Content creator your tasks will consist of:

Creating, conceptualising and taking innovative and unique content for our August customer across all social platforms including Instagram (stories and reels), Facebook.

Organising photoshoots and planning from beginning to end including prepping stock, steaming, organising shoot lists in order, prepping shoes, jewellery and styling with the August girl in mind

Collaborating daily where necessary with the Operation Manager, buying team, in-store teams, eCommerce, Stock Manager, Suppliers/Agencies and other internal divisions at August Store to maximise all opportunities

Liaising with modelling agencies for weekly content shoots where needed
Curating social media content moments including store activations, Store openings and the weekly August Store brand launches or new arrivals

Creating, conceptualising and executing content for eCommerce and EDM’s
Weekly meeting with management to discuss content performance, engagement and concepts

Utilising new social media platforms where applicable to grow the August Store brand and engage new customers

Creating an ongoing framework and schedule/calendar for all social content to work in a timely manner

Finger on the pulse with new social media trends and platforms to keep August Store at the forefront.
